Accepting students Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Greetings!

Welcome to my "virtual business card" -- Hopefully you will find most everything you need to know about me, my love of the piano, some photos, my teaching style, philosophy, and current rates.

I delight in teaching ---especially children, and enjoy expressing my enthusiasm about learning and playing music! I am also serious about the art of music education, and teach piano with passion, and joy!

If you become my student, be prepared to be enthusiastic yourself, dedicated, and consistent with preparation and practice! That's when the rewards of studying music and fun come together.

I have limited openings for new students: Beginners (Suzuki method only), and transfer intermediate - advanced (Suzuki or Traditional methods). I stronly believe in Suzuki methodology for young children age 3 -10.

Please do some research in advance, into the Suzuki Method, if this interests you, as this is marvelous method of learning and requires a small investment of time and research to understand it's philosophy. I have plenty of handouts to share, books to loan, reading lists etc to help you discover and understand Suzuki methodology. However, use the internet, my site, and other materials available at libraries and bookstores to investigate this extraordinary way of learning to play a musical instrument.

Please use the "Contact" tab located in the Menu section to your left should you have any questions or wish to email me. I will respond to your request promptly.

Recent testimonial:

"Jocelyn Morrow is an amazing piano and instrumental judge. The Douglas
County 4-H program is in her debt for the wonderful job she did at our county
Performing Arts Contest in July 2011.
Her positive energy, constructive comments, sincerity, and caring made our
contest an enjoyable and relaxed educational event. It was evident that Ms. Morrow
cared about the young people and was intent upon her comments strengthening their
future performances. Additionally, her general words of wisdom gave the youth well-
founded thoughts for succeeding in other pursuits in their lives. I would definitely recommend Jocelyn Morrow as a judge. I am sure with her
caring ways, coupled with her expertise, she is also a wonderful, competant, and very caring teacher."
